Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program

SANTA MARGARITA

As required under the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board Municipal Stormwater Permit Order Number 2001-01 (Municipal Permit), the County of San Diego prepared Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program, which addresses high priority stormwater quality issues found within the San Margarita Watershed. Although the San Margarita Watershed encompasses a region that includes several other jurisdictions (including the County of Riverside and the cities of Temecula and Murrieta), only the County of San Diego is listed as a Copermittee under Municipal Permit 2001-01. As such, this WURMP only address those activities and programs conducted by the County of San Diego in the watershed.
